Bubble Eye Goldfish

Hey everyone, first post in a long time, and probably not what you were expecting. You get a short video of our three new, just-purchased-today, bubble-eye goldfish!

We've had a bubble-eye goldfish (Mr. Bubbles) for at least a year now, and he's been in a 10 gallon tank. Well, about two summer's ago Heather found a 30 gallon tank, with all the fixin's (including a decent looking homemade stand!) It's been sitting in the garage, and later the basement for a while. Just a few months ago we hauled it upstairs and put it together and transfered Mr. Bubbles to this new tank. He's been kinda lonely and lost in such a large tank.

So, last week we visited our only local alternative to the WalMart fish department: Superior Aquatics in Painsedale, Michigan. Sorry, I'd link them, but they don't have a web presence. They're really a nice shop. They didn't have any bubble-eyes in stock, but ordered some for us and said they'd be in the shop in less than a week. We just went and picked them up today. They got three in stock and, well, we had planned on getting two, but couldn't leave the last one behind. (They gave us 17% a discount for taking all of them as well! ($1 off per fish.))

They seem to be getting along great so far, in fact, bubble-eyes in general seem to be some of the most docile fish I've ever seen.

Well, for gits-n-shiggles I tried uploading a short video of them hanging around in the tank to YouTube. Give it a view:

Not sure what we're going to name all of them yet...

Hello!

So glad to see Mr. Bubbles has a few new friends. I'd like to check out the pet store in Painsdale when up next if there's time. How are all the new guys doing?

Our aquarium is doing well and everyone seems to get along well. My "old" fish are growing in their new larger surroundings.

Hugs, MOM

They're really pretty. Mr. Bubbles always makes me laugh; he's so funny looking with his eyes on top of his head. :-) I'm glad you got him friends. Have they all lived?
